"Kia Orana Serena and Con, We just wanted to take this opportunity to say a huge MEITAKI MAATA to you for your hospitality during our stay in Rarotonga. The accomodation was fabulous, spacious and perfect for what we were seeking. It was great to meet you all, we absolutely loved the Cook Islands and can't wait to come again for another holiday. Take care and all the best from our whanau to yours."

"Wow! what can we say! If you are thinking of heading to Rarotonga for a holiday then we would totally recommend Muri Hillside Guest Houses. The accommodation was everything we hoped for with the most amazing scenery right in front of you. We stayed in the upstairs cottage which was a double 3 bedroom home with all the facilities needed – A home away from home. Con and Serena and also their children were fantastic hosts and the pool was just as great as the lagoon, which was only a short walk away. We were close to everything we needed including ATM machines and a car/scooter rental at the bottom of their road. We would not only recommend this place, we are seriously looking at going back and staying there again. AAA+"

"Kia Orana, Muri Hillside Guesthouses, what can i say? It was the best!!...It was such an awesome experience and it will be one we will never forget. We were all happy with the accommodation and I wouldn’t stay anywhere else. We had dinner and bbqs every night at the pool area and it was just fantastic. The kids loved it and I keep hearing my nephews and nieces saying when we’re coming back home… HAHAHA I think they thought we were all moving there LOL… Thank you so much for everything Con and Serena, we all agreed that it was the best holiday we’ve been on, and it wouldn’t have been so great if we didn’t have the best accommodation sorted for us, thank you for that but I can’t thank you enough for making our trip most welcoming, accommodation was sorted and also couldn’t get over how safe it was, we would leave the premises with our houses open and sometimes even left the doors open when we went to bed. It was such an awesome trip. Thank you once again, be expecting us again… Definitely recommend Muri Hillside Guesthouses if you’re looking for accomodation in Raro :) Awwesome :) Alofas, Pat"

"We have just come back from my Father’s Birthday at Muri Hillside, 16 of us in total ranging from 2 to 70 years old and booked every room except the studio bungalow. We wanted self catering and everything we needed was there. We took our meat over with us and bought everything else in Raro, found the supermarket prices much the same as NZ. Conrad and Serena are fantastic hosts, there if you need them but not in the way. Ask Serena to book your glass bottom boat trip, it was fantastic. Muri Hillside is in a lovely location, very close to the action in Muri but set back for privacy. We walked to the beach, restaurants and great local coffee shops and hired a car to take us around the island. Best snorkelling we found was just to the right of the Rarotongan near the reef. We went to the new over water fire/cultural evening which was well worth the money. Kids and adults both loved it. In the evenings we all gathered around the pool and BBQ area. It was set out with two extra large tables and pool loungers with a large BBQ and sink. There is even a toilet there to save your sun tired legs from walking too far. Our holiday at Murihillside was like being in paradise."

"We really enjoyed our stay in the cottage, there was heaps of space, totally self contained which we made great use of. We bought heaps (20kgs) of frozen meat over (which was no problems going through customs from NZ) I also bought over 15 kgs of regular groceries as shopping was fairly expensive in Raro. The bbq worked well, we invited guests over to entertain even. It was way easy to catch the bus to town. make sure you get a weeks concession card, it will save you a bit of money. Def take your beach (reef) shoes make the effort to kayak to the reef its awesome. You can even walk to the little islands out from Muri beach. Banana court had a great atmosphere. Trader Jacks is open after it closes. The Saturday market has a great show of Cook Island dancing, we thought that they were better than the island night at the edgewater. By the way if you hire a push bike, it only takes 1 1/2 hours to get around the Island, well worth the effort. If you like your privacy and your own space this is the place to stay at a reasonable price."

"Thanks Con and Serena for the awesome stay. We really enjoyed it at Muri Hillside Guest Houses. Will definately be back next year for another stay. Had a fablous holiday in the Cook Islands, loved the people and relaxing time. Definately need your insect repellent and sunscreen. It was only a short work to the beach which was lovely, and Muri Beach is lovely. The BBQ area worked really well, with entertaining. Thank you so much. Kind regards Mike & Sheree"

"A group of 9 of us went to Rarotonga from NZ to compete on the Raro International Triathlon. We stayed at the 3 bedroom apartment that was recommended to use by a friend who had stayed there before.
The accommodation exceeded our expectations. It was AMAZING! We were picked up from the airport by a lovely lady, got to the place and only then realised how big it actually was. We couldn’t see much outside as we arrived late at night, but on the following morning we could appreciate the closeness to the beach, the cool swimming pool, the large garden and the view. We loved the place and the hospitality of you all. We felt really looked after. We highly recommend this place (except when we go again because we’ll be staying there!!!!) Thanks heaps"

"There were 10 of us staying at Muri Hillside, and we had a blast! Yes, Muri Beach Lagoon is outstandingly beautiful, but we also had a ton of fun in the pool at the Cottage. BBQ as well, there were sometimes tough decisions to leave the Cottage and head to the beach! Serena and Con were wonderful hosts, and their family helped with servicing the Cottage. I would fully recommend staying here."

"My family and I booked out the Studio, Bungalow, Cottage, Appartment. For my little brothers special wedding day. Murihillside was one of the best places to take a big group, for example we had 28 people and we were so lucky to be able to stay together to experience Rarotonga together. Awesome time was had by all, the rooms are spacious, clean and tidy, the pool is a must, Serena and Conrad very friendly and helpful. If we were to go to a resort, we would have been separated, but Muri hillside is very homely. We took our own food, meats and cereals, milk. I recommend Murihillside to anyone who wants to see Rarotonga. All the locals that we had met on our travels that asked where we were staying didnt know the place as Muri hillside, they knew it as "Conrads Place". The main thing is it made our stay more enjoyable, having the freedom and not having to worry about locking the house’s everytime we went out, Thank you Serena and Conrad… Arohanui. Te Whanau. "
